Natalie Jacobs, MA, LLPC
I’m Natalie Jacobs, a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Dance/Movement Therapist. I received my education and clinical training from Lesley University in Boston, Massachusetts. I have lived and practiced in Boston, California, and Michigan.
I utilize an integrative approach that recognizes the connection between mind, body, and spiritual health. I seek to provide a supportive therapeutic environment while offering practical, evidence-based interventions informed by training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. In addition, I incorporate the use of mindfulness, movement, and the expressive arts to transform challenges into opportunities to live the life those truly wish to experience and embody.
My experience is in working with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a range of life’s challenges, including serious mental illness. I have provided services in clinical, educational, community, and nonprofit settings. I have guided individuals through addressing trauma, attachment, anxiety, depression, family/relationship conflict, stress, life transitions, suicidal ideation, self-harm, and self-esteem. In addition, I have worked with youth in the foster care system and supporting families through foster placement and adoption.
I believe the answers to our own healing are within us, and that each person has their own unique path to discovering their purpose in life. Often times, we need support in our processes of growth, and my passion lies in assisting people in renewing their mind and body by instilling greater levels of well-being, fulfillment, and potential.
